These resources are fundamental to OyaGen’s mission of advancing antiviral drug discovery and transforming promising screening hits into leads for preclinical research. What has made the Archimedes Center stand out to me most is its collaborative spirit. Being surrounded by fellow tenants who are eager to share ideas, reagents, and equipment has been invaluable.

CannaMetrix is committed to the development of quantitative methods that determine full and broad-spectrum cannabis products’ potencies relative to key cellular biomarkers as a means of developing treatments with the greatest health and medical impact.  The company is also interested in applying the same rigor to potency testing to other plant-based or nutritional supplements.  Our goal is to better differentiate products in the marketplace for consumers based on the biologically relevant interactions that critical components in the product have that affect human physiology.  The Archimedes Center brings to a biotech startup the collaborative environment typically found only in academic settings. The ability to connect with researchers with unique specialties and ways of thinking over coffee or casual conversation serves as a problem-solving resource that is often unavailable to isolated startups.
